Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Webusco LLC ("Webusco", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the Blokky mobile application ("Blokky", the "App").
1. Information We Collect
Depending on your use of the App, we may collect:
- Device and technical data (for example: device model, OS version, app version, diagnostics/crash data, timestamps, coarse network data).
- Usage and gameplay data (for example: events, progress, streak and completion activity, interaction with features).
- Identifiers used to operate the service (for example: app/user identifiers created by the App and platform/service identifiers).
- Purchases/subscription data from payment and paywall providers used to fulfill purchases, restore entitlements, and measure product performance.
- User-generated content that you choose to create or share in the App.
- Game Center data (iOS) if you use Apple Game Center features (for example: leaderboard and achievement submissions, authentication status, and related gameplay signals available through Game Center APIs).
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Blokky.
- Operate core gameplay and social/game-service features (including Game Center where enabled).
- Process purchases and restore access/entitlements.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot errors, and prevent abuse/fraud.
- Analyze product usage and engagement.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms/policies.
3. Third-Party Services
Blokky uses third-party SDKs and services that may process data according to their own privacy policies. These may include:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Messaging, Remote Config)
- Amplitude
- RevenueCat
- Superwall
- ironSource (ads/mediation)
- Apple (including Game Center on iOS)
- Google Play Services (Android)
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers that help us run Blokky (for example analytics, diagnostics, messaging, payments, and ads), and where required by law or to protect users and the service.
5. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract - to provide the App and its core features, process purchases, and restore entitlements.
- Legitimate interests - to analyze usage, improve the product, prevent fraud and abuse, operate leaderboards and gameplay features, and ensure the security and stability of the service. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object (see Section 10).
- Consent - for personalized advertising, where your consent is collected through the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt or an equivalent mechanism on Android. You may withdraw consent at any time through your device settings.
- Legal obligation - where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
Some of our third-party service providers are based outside the EEA or UK. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or equivalent mechanisms under UK law.
6. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Approximate retention periods by data type are:
- Analytics and usage data: up to 24 months from collection.
- Crash and diagnostic data: up to 12 months from collection.
- Purchase and subscription records: up to 7 years, as required for accounting and legal purposes.
- Support communications: up to 3 years from the date of last contact.
- User-generated content: for as long as your content is active in the App, or until you request removal.
- Game Center data (iOS): managed and retained by Apple in accordance with Apple's privacy policy. Blokky does not independently store Game Center display names or player identifiers on its own servers.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Blokky is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
User-generated content. If we become aware that a child under 13 has submitted user-generated content through the App (for example, a shared puzzle), we will remove that content and any associated personal information upon request. To request removal, contact us at support@webusco.net. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal information may contact us using the details in Section 11 and we will review and act promptly.
Game Center (iOS). Game Center authentication is managed by Apple and is subject to Apple's own age verification and parental control systems, including requirements for Family Sharing accounts for users under 13. Blokky does not independently collect or verify age through the Game Center integration.
Advertising. Our ad mediation partner (ironSource) is configured as a partially child-directed app, which applies COPPA-compliant (non-behaviorally targeted) ad serving where required by law or where a user may be a minor.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, or object to processing. California residents may also have rights under the CCPA, including the right to opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise this right, you may use the "Limit Ad Tracking" or equivalent setting on your device, which Blokky and its advertising partners respect. To submit any other privacy request, contact us using the details in Section 11.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the effective date above.
